Little Egret is an exceptional, dog friendly, apartment in the heart of the village, looking down on the square, The Rising Sun terrace, Harbour Beach and The Idle Rocks hotel. There is plenty of space for a family of 4 or a couple. The living room has a large picture window to accentuate the wonderful view, which is also enjoyed from the master bedroom. But the underused piece de resistance is the communal roof terrace, south facing and with commanding views of the harbour and bay, you might easily confuse your location with the south of France. St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, regular ferries to Falmouth and St Anthony, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools. There are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan, with its famous round houses.

    Friday change overs during the season
    Electricity, heating, bed linen, and towels are all included. You will need to bring your own beach towels.
    A security deposit of £250 will be pre-authorised on your credit / debit card.
    Up to 2, well-behaved dogs are welcome at the additional cost of £40 per dog per week.
